CANDIDATES FOR BENEFICIARY BODIES: Legal form: bodies,   legally   recognized,   not-for-profit,   constituted   and   organized   according   to   the   rules   governing   the   non- profit Third Sector; in   the   Italian   context,   social   enterprises,   established   under   law   155/2006,   provided   that   the   giving,   as   part   of   the social enterprise, is intended to support initiatives connoted by particular social or cultural importance. Reference values: Consistent   with   those   specified   in   the   Statute   of   the   Foundation,   person-oriented,   as   well   as   human   rights,   economic and social solidarity, sustainable development, environmental conservation and to support culture. a Admitted categories: Humanitarian organizations, NGOs, national and supranational institutions; religious organizations; associations of social assistance, promotion of social and voluntary organizations; organizations and associations working to safeguard the environment and natural resources; Universities, Colleges, High Schools; foundations and research institutes - scientific, technological and medical; bodies engaged in study, research and activities of relevant cultural or artistic value; foundations or associations that act solely in entertainment; organizations and sports associations of an amateur nature; Excluded categories: private (individuals) and the following entities; parties, political movements and their organizational structures; union organizations and patronage; regions,    provinces    or    municipalities,    except    for    specific    initiatives    deemed    particularly    important    socially, culturally or scientifically; associations and organizations not legally recognized, recreational groups; bodies   involved   in   legal   disputes,   in   matters   pertaining   to   the   non-respect   of   human   rights,   peaceful   coexistence or environmental protection. Organisational requirements: P rocedure,   including   accounting,   enabling   easy   verification   of   consistency   between   the   goals   set   and   those   actually pursued   or   preparation   of   audited   financial   statements,   subject   to   the   requirement   for   such   institutions   to   operate   in compliance with the statutory rules and the principles of fairness, rigor, integrity, honesty, fairness and good faith.
